The inventory activity is followed by the optimisation activity, necessary to better dimension the number of surgical sets and instruments present according to the specialities operating, the characteristics of the procedures performed and the relative number of operations carried out, so as to be able to safely manage spikes in activity without causing urgencies/emergencies to the sterilisation service.
